On the night of December 13, the richest meteor shower of the year reaches its peak - the Geminids, which can reach a rate of 160 meteors per hour. By comparison, the more familiar Perseid shower that occurs in August peaks at about 80 meteors per hour, so there's plenty to look forward to.Every year it happens again.
