פרטי האירוע

Every year it happens again. On the nights between December 13-15, the richest meteor shower of the year reaches its peak - the Geminids, which can reach a rate of 160 meteors per hour. By comparison, the more familiar Perseid shower that occurs in August peaks at about 80 meteors per hour, so there's plenty to look forward to.

The observatory guides are waiting to open up to you a world without limits - from the development of astronomy to the great discoveries of our time.

With the help of laser beams that almost touch the stars, we will get to know the night sky and the twinkling stars, with fascinating explanations and stories for adults and children. We will notice prominent constellations and find out how to easily locate the North Star.

During the training you will be able to cover yourself with a pleasant kerbolit, and treat yourself to a hot herbal tea - there is nothing like drinking something hot on a desert night.

In the second part of the activity, several huge telescopes will be at your disposal, through which we will observe the craters of the moon and the planets, we will get to know deep sky objects, star clusters, galaxies and nebulae - what the sky will provide us on the night of the observation.
